Alex is a motion graphics designer and student at Columbus College of Art & Design. His short piece for Wonderland perfectly spells out the project’s key details in a succession of colorful images and text (watch it here). You'd think he'd been doing this kind of thing forever. But as Alex explains, he found his calling for motion graphics only recently.

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio in a family of creatives, I naturally found myself exploring the arts. I started out with a cheap video camera, a few friends and a free video editor. One hundred and thirty videos later, I was obsessed.

As a junior at the Columbus College of Art & Design, I found a new love for Motion Graphics. It's like taking video, illustration, animation, and mashing it into a motion salad, sprinkling it with music. It is my hobby, my homework, and my future.

Through my recent viral success of  "The World is Obsessed With Facebook", I've been given the opportunity to do great things for a lot of great companies, including Wonderland. Wonderland is a magical place where art happens.  If I can be a part of that growth, and help this great place do great things, I'm on it 120 percent.

I hope you enjoy watching my work as much as I enjoyed making it! – Alex Trimpe
